I usually get up in the mornings on my days off and look out my window to see if the weather is good for taking photos. Most days I think “It looks so cold” and I talk myself out of going anywhere. Today was cold, rainy, and snowy, but I promised my son an adventure. We went to Antelope Island, and it was so cold that my glasses kept fogging up. I barely noticed the cold. I was using my 120mm and taking photos of the old barn out there. It was a great way to start the new year. I used my wide angle lens as well but I prefer my kit lens in this setting, probably because it’s what I’m used to. I have some ideas of where I can get the most use out of my wide angle lens, it’s just a matter of finding the time to do it.
This first set was with my wide angle lens. Forgive my duplicates (b&w and color), I couldn’t decide which I preferred.
This next set was with my kit lens. I like the look of empty benches in my landscapes, they always remind me of my good friend, Peter.
The 120mm will be posted as soon as I get them developed, which could be a few weeks to a few months. 😉
