Spontaneity

So, we went to Logan today. My son likes to go to antique stores probably more than I do. I decided to forgo taking photos this trip. I was fully dedicated to finding a Polaroid SX-70 and a few cool records, but instead I found this table runner that seems like it was made for me. 🙂 The Cache Valley Antique Mall is the best antique store I’ve ever been in. They are a bit pricey, but I always find the best stuff there. In fact that is where I got my Yashica TLR. It was actually pretty well priced considering the cost of most of the stuff there. It is well worth the trip.

My new (to me) table runner:

I had a spending limit, which I exceeded, and then I found this:

Fortunately and unfortunately, I don’t have the wall space for it. I wish I could have gotten a better photo. This print is also perfect for me, I just kept staring at it.

Afterwards we went to the Blackbird Diner, but it was closed for remodelling. We opted to go to the Centre Street Grill across the street.

And then on to the Logan Temple:

We got pulled over on the way up. I started plucking the hairs from my face as I waited because the car has the best light for it. The officer returned to give us our ticket and looked at me and smiled as if he was trying not to laugh. Hey, I’m not ashamed to pluck my beard in public. 😀

Our ticket 😦

I found what looked like an access point to the Great Salt Lake that I had never seen before. If I get brave enough, I might venture out there in the next few weeks.

Hopefully I get my film back soon from the other day. I have no idea what is on half of it so It’ll be fun to see the results.

Thank you all for reading, have a great week.
