Confidence Begets Confidence

I first went to Mr. Connecticut in July of last year. I was upset, crying, and cursing. I still cringe at the way that conversation went. I was really nervous but I felt like it needed to be done. I don’t even remember half of the things I said, but I remember what I said at the end:

“I don’t want anyone to lose their jobs, but I will defend myself.” Then I went on to say “I don’t know if it was the right thing coming to you about this or not. I always doubt myself.” He said with a smile, “we all do sometimes.”

There is only one thing that has changed from that conversation and that is, doubting myself. Confidence begets confidence. So if you’re waiting for my confidence to waiver, you’ll be waiting until your retirement.

I won’t state my position on this again, I’m staying.

Thanks for reading.
